Dr. Hyunsoo Hur has a variety of experience in foreign language education. She has trained foreign language teachers, worked on technology-based project with MIT Lincoln Lab and developed online learning materials for GLOSS project, designed foreign language curriculum, taught foreign languages in beginning, intermediate and advanced levels, reviewed foreign language teacher education programs at US universities on the national level, and so forth.

Her area of interest includes applied linguistics, linguistic anthropology, language acquisition, teacher education, instructional technology, and intercultural communication. Hyunsoo presented at numerous conferences and is actively involved in foreign language education research and practice.
