 Dr. Anderson's areas of interest include applied linguistics and language acquisition and learning.
He has served as Professor Emeritus at Hartnell College in Salinas, California, as an Adjunct Professor at California State University Monterey Bay, Fulbright Professor at Dong Dok University in Vientiane, Laos, and as Chair of Language Arts, Department of Education, Pago Pago, American Samoa. Additionally, he has been a presenter of numerous workshops at conferences affiliated with ACTFL, TESOL, California Language Teachers' Association, and others.
Dr. Anderson's honors include being named California Language Teachers' Association Outstanding Teacher of the Year and receiving the Outstanding Teacher Award from Hartnell College.
